THE RF SHIELDED MRI ENCLOSURE AT GENESIS HOSPITAL
National MRI Shielding is a leading US manufacturer of RF shielded enclosures for hospitals and medical imaging facilities. The process for installing MRI shielding is both highly technical and requires dedicated professionalism in order to achieve the high quality finished product shown in these pictures.
RF Shield Fabrication and Installation Process
First, the enclosure’s dimensions are calculated and planned by engineers at National MRI Shielding headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Next, the RF panels are custom fabricated in our manufacturing facility and shipped to the hospital for installation. Each panel must be carefully installed and fastened together by National MRI Shielding trained technicians in order to construct a completely sealed barrier that prevents radio frequency signals from entering the MRI scan room. As you can see, this process takes tremendous skill and attention to detail.
Final Product After Cosmetic Finishes
Once the cosmetic finishes are in place the final product is a beautifully crafted shielded room ready for scanning patients with an MRI machine. Here at National MRI Shielding we are proud of our contribution to the medical imaging industry. Our high standards and pride in workmanship are reflected in all our finished products. We hope you have enjoyed this unique view into the craftsmanship and skill that goes into the construction of an RF shielded enclosure by National MRI Shielding.
