THE RF SHIELDED MRI ENCLOSURE AT GENESIS HOSPITAL

National MRI Shielding is a leading US manufacturer of RF shielded enclosures for hospitals and medical imaging facilities. The process for installing MRI shielding is both highly technical and requires dedicated professionalism in order to achieve the high quality finished product shown in these pictures.

RF Shield Fabrication and Installation Process

First, the enclosure’s dimensions are calculated and planned by engineers at National MRI Shielding headquarters in Dallas, Texas.  Next, the RF panels are custom fabricated in our manufacturing facility and shipped to the hospital for installation.  Each panel must be carefully installed and fastened together by National MRI Shielding trained technicians in order to construct a completely sealed barrier that prevents radio frequency signals from entering the MRI scan room.  As you can see, this process takes tremendous skill and attention to detail.
